Aston Martin has revealed a one-off Vanquish Volante Wave Edition, a bespoke convertible created to headline the 2026 Naples Winter Wine Festival charity auction.
Commissioned through Q by Aston Martin and developed with Aston Martin Naples, the singular build made its public debut on January 31 before going under the hammer for a good cause.
All proceeds from the auction will support the Naples Children & Education Foundation, which has raised more than US$336 million since 2001.
Inspired by tides, not trends

As the name suggests, the Wave Edition takes its cues from water, specifically the Florida Bay and Collier County coastline. The exterior wears Q Iridescent Sapphire paint, a deep blue finish with a subtle green shimmer designed to mimic light moving across water.
Gloss black tinted carbon fibre features heavily, including upper and lower packages that flow into an extended body-colour paint scheme.

Over the top sits a bespoke Club Sport White livery, streaking across the carbon fibre like surf breaking against rocks. There are pinstripes on the bonnet’s Formula 1-inspired Thermos Louvres, along the side fenders and rear shield, plus a wave-inspired lower pinstripe unique to this car.
Red brake calipers add contrast and a coastal nod, while gloss black carbon fibre sidestrakes wear a white V12 logo that ties back into the livery theme.
Calm inside, chaos under the bonnet

The cabin deliberately slows the visual pace. Glacier White leather dominates, paired with gloss black carbon fibre detailing and Pale Blue contrast stitching. A bespoke wave motif is embroidered into the headrests and engraved onto the sill plaques, while Aston Martin wings are stitched into the shoulder bolsters.
The rear carbon fibre crossbrace mirrors the exterior livery pinstripe, and a red anodised start/stop rotary provides a subtle interior accent.
Vittorio Gabba, Commercial Head of Q Operations at Aston Martin, says: “Vanquish Volante Wave Edition is a sculpture in motion, a car that embodies the beauty and dynamism of water while delivering the pulse-quickening performance that defines Aston Martin. This one-off commission captures the spirit of Florida's coastline and channels it through the artistry and craftsmanship of Q by Aston Martin.”
Serious performance

Beneath the sculpted bonnet sits Aston Martin’s twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12, producing 614 kW and 1000 Nm. That’s enough for 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 344 km/h, making the Vanquish Volante the world’s most powerful front-engine convertible.
The fabric roof opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16, and can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, just in case the weather turns mid-coastline cruise.
Only one Wave Edition will ever exist, and its entire reason for being is philanthropy. For collectors with a taste for rarity and a charitable streak, it doesn’t get much more exclusive than this.
