Fresh Bentley badge signals design shift, concept reveal on July 8.

Fresh Bentley badge signals design shift, concept reveal on July 8.

  • Bentley unveils a redesigned Winged B emblem, marking its fifth evolution in 106 years.
  • The new badge will debut on a concept car revealed on July 8 at Bentley’s Crewe HQ.
  • New emblem features sharper wing angles and a redesigned centre jewel inspired by luxury watchmaking.

Bentley Motors is shaking up tradition with the reveal of its striking new ‘Winged B’ emblem - only the fifth revision in the brand’s 106-year history.

This refreshed icon signals the start of an ambitious new era for the British luxury marque, coinciding with the upcoming launch of a future vision concept car and the opening of a cutting-edge Design Studio at the Crewe headquarters next week.

Winged B takes flight... again

Bentley’s Director of Design, Robin Page, led the revamp of the legendary wings, working alongside a dedicated in-house team.

The winning concept came from Young Nam of the Interior Design team and was refined into the final version.

Page noted, “If a luxury brand is the product of the stories it has created, then its emblem is its signature… The new Winged B - and the concept car that introduces it - both symbolise a powerful, exciting future for this company and its exceptional, handcrafted products.”

The fresh design sharpens the iconic wings, trading the previous softer curves for a silhouette inspired by the dynamic angles of a Peregrine Falcon’s wings.

The lower feathers have been stripped away for a cleaner look, while the central ‘B’ jewel gains depth and detail reminiscent of fine watchmaking - think bevelled glass edges and chamfered metal surrounds.

From 1919 to now: Bentley’s badge evolution

Bentley badge evolution

The original Winged B, penned by F. Gordon Crosby in 1919, reflected W.O. Bentley’s pursuit of performance, and perhaps his background designing fighter plane engines during WWI. Each major update since (in 1931, the 1990s, 2002 and now 2025) has reinterpreted that founding spirit.

The new emblem marks Bentley’s most significant design shift in over a century, aligning with its journey toward a more progressive, sustainable future.

What’s next? Watch this space

Bentley will officially debut the updated emblem at Crewe on July 7, followed by the reveal of its new concept car on July 8.

While details of the vehicle remain under wraps, the brand promises it offers “a hint of the direction” for future models. Bentley has not disclosed powertrain specifications or production intent at this stage.

Bentley’s refreshed wings may be just the beginning, but they certainly set an audacious tone for what’s to come.
