Only 50 Lamborghini–Sonus faber Il Cremonese speakers will be made.

  • Lamborghini and Sonus faber have launched the Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition home loudspeaker.
  • Only 50 individually numbered pairs will be produced, priced at around NZ$295k, in five Lamborghini paint finishes.
  • Key features include a Beryllium DLC tweeter, dual 180mm woofers and nanocarbon-fibre reinforced infrawoofers.

For those who like their hi-fi as exclusive as their garage, Lamborghini and Sonus faber have teamed up to create the Il Cremonese Ex3me - Automobili Lamborghini Edition, an ultra-rare loudspeaker that fuses Italian audio artistry with supercar swagger.

Making its global debut at Monterey Car Week, only 50 individually numbered pairs will ever be made, each finished in one of five Lamborghini paint colours: Giallo Countach, Arancio Egon, Blu Marinus Matte, Verde Mercurius or Nero Nemesis Matte.

Fast looks, louder soul

Lamborghini’s angular, performance-driven design cues are all over this five-sided cabinet, from sculpted carbon-fibre detailing to Corsatex by Dinamica trim, topped off with the brand’s iconic shield badge.

Sonus faber’s acoustic know-how does the rest, with each speaker painstakingly tuned by ear for a listening experience said to rival a live performance.

“This collaboration represents the perfect union of two Italian icons,” said Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s Marketing Director. “The result is an uncompromising acoustic experience that reflects our cultural heritage and our relentless pursuit of perfection.”

Under the bonnet… of a loudspeaker

Beneath the showpiece design lies serious hardware. The tweeter uses a Beryllium DLC diaphragm, lifted from the flagship Ex3ma, capable of singing past 35kHz.

A 180mm midrange driver made from air-dried cellulose, Kapok and Kenaf brings warmth and realism, while dual 180mm sandwich-cone woofers keep bass deep yet tight.

Side-mounted infrawoofers with nanocarbon-fibre reinforcement extend the lows further, all integrated through a re-engineered Paracross Topology crossover for phase precision and ultra-low noise.

The price of exclusivity? Not disclosed

At €125,000 (around NZ$295k), the Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition is about as far from an impulse buy as it gets. What it does guarantee is a slice of Italy’s finest, engineered for your lounge instead of the road.

As Jim Mollica of Bose Luxury Audio put it: “Listening to music, much like driving, is a deeply sensory and emotional experience.”

With Lamborghini now fielding a fully hybrid line-up, from the V12 Revuelto to the plug-in Urus SE, this home audio partnership shows the brand’s appetite for performance extends well beyond the tarmac.
