MG Motor New Zealand has officially confirmed the variant and pricing for the highly anticipated all-new MGU9 ute, marking the brand’s first venture into the highly competitive ute segment.
The MGU9 local lineup will consist of three variants: the MGU9 Explore, the MGU9 Explore X, and the MGU9 Explore Pro, with the Explore priced at $60,990, the Explore X at $63,990, and the Explore Pro at $68,990.
This prices it slightly above its mechanical twin, the LDV Terron 9, but also offers a wider range, as the LDV is only available as a single $59,990 Elite model.
"With the MGU9 range we’ve created a vehicle lineup that combines comfort, capability, and innovation in equal measure," said MG Motor's NZ country manager, Dean Sheed.
"Each variant has been designed to deliver a versatile driving experience, whether it’s for daily commercial use, family weekends, or tackling adventures off the beaten track.
"From refined ride comfort and advanced safety features to smart design touches that make life easier, the MGU9 proves that Kiwis no longer have to choose between practicality and innovation when looking for their next ute."
To encourage early adoption, MG Motor New Zealand is offering a $1000 MG Genuine accessory pack offer for the first 100 customers who pre-order, providing owners an opportunity to option up their ute. Customers can secure their MGU9 by registering their details online or by contacting their nearest MG dealership.
