Production-ready Epiq scheduled for global premiere in 2026.

Production-ready Epiq scheduled for global premiere in 2026.

  • The Skoda Epiq show car previews a 4.1m all-electric city SUV with seating for five.
  • It offers a 475L boot and a driving range of up to 425km per charge.
  • The production version, scheduled for 2026, will be built in Spain.
Skoda has revealed its latest concept: the Epiq show car, offering a glimpse of what will become the brand’s most accessible all-electric SUV.
Due to reach production in 2026, the compact newcomer is pitched as a practical, stylish and budget-friendly addition to Skoda’s electric lineup.

Compact but not cramped

At just 4.1m long, the Epiq slots in as a city-friendly SUV but doesn’t skimp on space. It seats five, with a generous 475L boot and a claimed driving range of up to 425km, enough to cover both weekday errands and weekend trips without range anxiety.
Skoda says the starting price will be comparable to its combustion-powered Kamiq, positioning the Epiq as the most affordable EV in the stable.

Modern Solid, meet everyday life

The Epiq is also the first Skoda to fully embrace the company’s new “Modern Solid” design language.
Its overall look is bold and pared-back, marked out by Cashmere matt paintwork, a gloss black Tech-Deck Face and T-shaped LED running lights. A sharp tornado line divides the glasshouse from the body, giving the little SUV a strong-shouldered, contemporary stance.
Inside, it’s all about simplicity and usability: wireless charging, physical controls where they matter and a scattering of “Simply Clever” storage touches like hooks and underfloor compartments.

Built for the masses

Production of the Epiq will take place in Spain at Volkswagen’s Navarra plant, as part of the wider Electric Urban Car Family programme.
The initiative, spanning four compact EVs across three VW Group brands, is aimed at democratising electric mobility. Skoda’s CEO Klaus Zellmer summed it up neatly: “With the Epiq, we’re taking another step towards making electric cars a practical and compelling choice for everyday drivers.” The production model will make its world premiere in mid-2026.
