What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?
Space without large car size, aesthetic and functional design, reliability, and economy. It ticked all those boxes including a very high build quality, especially with the interior.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
I liked the overall design both body and interior, it had a very high quality sound system which is important. The suicide doors are excellent for fitting oversized objects in the back, something I needed that my previous car lacked. It had a high paint finish.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
After being rear-ended in an accident I discovered how well build and robust it is. Its economy is average in town but on a long trip itʼs excellent. Itʼs sensor and camera system is very user friendly and again high quality, it full of useful tech that can be disabled if wanted.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
The suicide doors can be an inconvenience in tight spaces, and the back seats are not as easy to access as a conventional system. The motor is not that powerful, but itʼs very torquey, which is great in town. The auto trans is very smooth and responsive with very little need to use the paddle shifters.
Any other comments on the car?
The car has an overall feeling of being a more expensive car than it is, the interior fit and finish is as good as my previous Lexus. It handles extremely well on twisty roads. Iʼm surprised they are not more popular. The design styling will last the test of time, and gets lots of positive comments.

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?
I intend to buy another if available, but plan to keep it for a while as itʼs the top spec model, and not sure if they will be available in the future.
