- After a successful event in 2025, Harley-Davidson's "United We Ride" charity event is back for 2026.
- The event will take place on Saturday the 12th of September at dealerships across New Zealand and Australia.
- Participants don't need to own a Harley - or even ride - to join in.
Following the incredible success of its inaugural year where more than 3,000 riders raised NZ$196,000 for The Salvation Army, Harley-Davidson has announced the 2026 edition of the “United We Ride” charity event will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2026.
Building on strong momentum from 2025, the company says the event has "quickly become a flagship national moment for the riding community" and brings together owners, H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) Chapters, motorcycle enthusiasts and its dealer network for a shared cause that "extends far beyond the ride itself."

Participants don't even need to own a Harley to take part, with riders of all makes and models welcome to join in, as long as they register for the event and support the spirit of the ride. You don't even need to ride a bike at all, as you can pop along to a Harley dealership where celebration events will be taking place to start and finish each ride.
The event continues to support The Salvation Army, and every registered rider contributes to raising awareness and funds for critical frontline services, including emergency housing, support for women and families, and financial counselling for those experiencing hardship.

"I felt as though it was somewhere I could give back - that I knew it was going to go somewhere good. It wasn’t like I was dropping the money into the charity box at the end of the street… it was going into something that a lot of people have put a lot of effort into and can really benefit from," said Darren Fairhall, the top fundraiser from the 2025 event,
"Everything they’re (The Salvation Army) doing to help people who are in more difficult situations than us, it’s a great cause. Hopefully we can raise even more this year and help the people out there that are in vulnerable situations."
Riders can register and start fundraising now via www.unitedwerideanz.com, with contributions accepted right up until event day, and the company says that top fundraisers will again have the opportunity to win an exclusive prize pack, including a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and partner prizes.
