- The Urus SE Performante pairs a twin-turbo V8 with electric drive for 597 kW.
- Lamborghini says aero upgrades improve efficiency and brake cooling, led by two rear spoilers.
- The new derivative remains under approval, with sales timing and pricing still undisclosed.
Lamborghini has revealed the Urus SE Performante, a sharper plug-in hybrid derivative that pushes the brand's super SUV formula further into performance territory.
More hybrid muscle

The Urus SE Performante uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with a permanent-magnet electric motor. Lamborghini lists combined output at 812 CV, or 597 kW, with maximum torque of 1000 Nm.
That gives the model a power-to-weight ratio of 3 kg/CV, positioning it above existing Urus SE and Urus Performante variants as a new high-performance hybrid offshoot rather than a direct replacement for either.
Carbon and aero

The Performante treatment also brings visible carbon-fibre elements, including the hood and front and rear bumpers.
Lamborghini says the model uses two rear spoilers to improve aerodynamic efficiency and brake cooling, supporting the more focused character of the new derivative.

The company also refers to revised suspension-related technical solutions, describing the result in terms of improved performance precision, stability and responsiveness. Lamborghini has not disclosed some headline performance figures, including 0-100 km/h acceleration or top speed.
Still under approval

For now, the Urus SE Performante is still not a showroom-ready proposition. Lamborghini says the model is under approval and not available for sale, meaning pricing, market timing and any New Zealand availability remain undisclosed.

Still, the Urus SE Performante builds on Lamborghini's plug-in hybrid SUV platform with more output, more carbon fibre and a stronger aerodynamic focus, while keeping the brand's fastest SUV story moving into electrified territory.
