Mercedes-AMG is marking the closing chapter of the A 45 S 4Matic+ with a Final Edition that pairs familiar performance with a sharper visual treatment.
The mechanical headline remains the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 310 kW and 500 Nm. Mercedes-AMG says the hot hatch can cover 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 270 km/h.

Those figures put the emphasis firmly on the established A 45 S formula.
Rather than detailing any extra output for this edition, Mercedes-AMG has concentrated on distinctive colours, contrasting details and a selection of optional additions to identify the farewell model.
Yellow details signal the finale

Buyers can choose between Manufaktur mountain grey magno and night black paint. Both choices are paired with matt-black 19-inch forged wheels, while yellow accents appear on the wheel hubs and exterior.
The forged wheel specification measures 19 inches, giving the Final Edition a consistent wheel design across both paint choices.

The contrasting theme continues inside, where yellow stitching adds colour to the cabin. Black brake callipers complete the standard exterior treatment, keeping the palette tightly focused around dark finishes and bright yellow highlights.
An AMG Aerodynamics Package is optional, as is a large 45 S graphic for the doors. The latter makes the model's identity especially clear, while buyers who prefer a less overt finish can leave it off.
Orders for the A 45 S Final Edition are now open in Europe and Germany. Mercedes-AMG has not disclosed New Zealand availability or pricing, so there is no confirmation yet that the farewell version will be offered locally.
