I was in the market for a large, safe 4 wheel drive wagon. It needed to carry veterinary imaging equipment. Be comfy. Safe. And really importantly be reliable. It does what is says on the can. And looks pretty cool too.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
She's a big old bus. Feels very traditional in a proper tough off loader way. Great seats. I never knew I couldn't do without ventilated seats. But now I can't. Infotainment system is good. Surround cameras are great. Engine gruff but effective. And amazingly thrifty for a car of this size.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
Did I mention the seats? And I still have people coming up to in carparks to ask about the car and have a nozy. It is beautifully built. Takes everything thrown at it with consummate ease. And the seats.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
The pros far outweigh the cons. Surprisingly good to drive down a country road. It looks great inside and out. The dealership experience is great. Faultless reliability. Economical. Not too flashy. Grunty engine. Amazing towvehicle.The cons are really limited to the raised boot floor with the mild hybrid battery system. But it is nothing like as bad as the internet says.
Any other comments on the car?
It seems to make drivers of Land Rover Defenders nervous.

Yes

It does everything I need a vehicle to do. And although expensive in absolute terms, compared to the competition it is great value.
