The latest addition to Dubai Police's now-legendary fleet of exotic patrol vehicles is the Lamborghini Temerario, a hybrid supercar with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. Don't even think about a getaway: it can hit 100km/h in 2.7 seconds.

Sometimes standard supercars aren't enough: this Ferrari 812 Superfast is modified by Mansort.

High-performance and super-luxury cars have become a distinctive international symbol of Dubai. Current and past vehicles on the fleet include models from Bugatti, Bentley, BMW M, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, Rolls-Royce... even a Tesla Cybertruck.

The vehicles are not generally used for day-to-day patrols or pursuits. They are part of a programme to increase police presence and for "strengthening police visibility and engagement with residents and visitors across the emirate".

They operate mainly in tourist and busy retail areas. Dubai Police has a more conventional fleet of patrol cars for frontline duties.

“Our luxury patrol fleet represents an innovative approach to policing, combining an effective security presence with community and tourist engagement," says Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police.

"These vehicles help people feel safe, showcase Dubai’s positive image to visitors from around the world, and raise awareness of police services and public safety. Above all, they reinforce our commitment to being a police force that is close to the community."

Other recent additions to the luxury fleet include five models modified by German aftermarket specialist Mansory: a Ferrari 812 Superfast just last month, a Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari Purosangue and Rolls-Royce Cullinan (all in 2025).

The exotic-car fleet for Dubai Police began in 2013, with a Lamborghini Aventador.
