- More than 70% of Bentley buyers choose Mulliner bespoke content.
- Ombré by Mulliner now offers eight exterior colour combinations.
- New options include racing stripes, laser etching and welcome animations.
Bentley’s customers are clearly not short of opinions. The brand says more than 70% of buyers now order some level of Mulliner bespoke content, prompting its in-house personalisation division to add fresh finishes, materials and design options for 2026.
The latest Mulliner Personal Commissioning Guide broadens the menu across paint, veneers, exterior graphics and welcome lighting, giving Bentley owners even more ways to make a very expensive car feel even less likely to meet its twin at the golf club.
Ombré paint gets a bigger palette

The biggest expansion is for Ombré by Mulliner, the exterior finish first shown at The Quail in 2025.
Each Ombré paint job takes two technicians 56 hours to create, blending two complementary colours into a seamless transition.

Bentley originally offered three combinations: Topaz Blue to Windsor Blue, Sunburst Gold to Orange Flame, and Tungsten into Onyx. That range now grows to eight with Alpine Green into Verdant, Cricketball into Black Velvet, Pale Brodgar into Brodgar, Portofino into Marlin and Grey Violet into Damson.
The theme can now continue inside, too. Matching Ombré piano veneers are available, allowing the colour transition to flow from the fascia into the door waistrails.
Stripes for the faster crowd

Mulliner has also added a new dual racing stripe for the Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible and Bentayga. It features one broad central stripe flanked by two thinner contrasting stripes.
On most models, the stripe runs from the Bentley wings on the bonnet, across the roof and towards the rear spoiler. The Continental GT Convertible is the obvious exception, for soft-top reasons.
More ways to leave a mark

Inside, Mulliner is adding a new Wave technical finish in metal for the centre console on the Continental GT and GTC. The pattern uses a repeating intertwined ribbon motif designed to add a more tactile focal point.
Customers can also now have their own designs laser-etched onto fascia veneers. The option applies to open-pore wood, high-gloss veneers, satin carbon fibre and technical finishes, while keeping the surface smooth and natural-feeling.

Two new Mulliner welcome lamp animations join the portfolio for 2026, though customers can still commission bespoke fixed illuminations.
Bentley says its Mulliner team has also created curated specifications for each model, giving customers a starting point before working with a Mulliner consultant or retail specialist. In other words, even bespoke now comes with a mood board.
