- Bentley launches carbon fibre-infused workwear for EV production safety.
- Designed to prevent static build-up in sensitive battery assembly areas.
- Part of “Dream Factory” shift ahead of Bentley’s first electric vehicle launch.
Bentley is preparing for its electric future, and it’s starting with what its workers wear.
Ahead of the launch of its first battery electric vehicle from Crewe later this year, the British marque has introduced a new generation of workwear designed specifically for EV production environments.
It might sound like a small detail, but in modern manufacturing, it’s anything but.
Built for the electric age

The new uniforms are engineered for use in electrostatically protected areas, where even small static charges can interfere with sensitive battery and electronic components.
To counter that, Bentley’s workwear incorporates carbon fibre within its construction, allowing static electricity to dissipate safely while maintaining flexibility and comfort for daily use.
It’s a technical solution to a very real problem, and one that highlights just how different EV production can be compared with traditional combustion vehicles.
Designed with the workforce in mind

Bentley says the collection was co-created with employees, focusing on four core principles: inclusivity, future-readiness, functionality and high-tech performance.
That translates into a wide range of fits and sizes, along with design tweaks aimed at improving mobility, safety and comfort across different roles on the production line.
Even the styling reflects Bentley’s broader design direction, with updated silhouettes and detailing intended to mirror the clean, modern aesthetic of its upcoming electric models.
Sustainability stitched in

Environmental considerations are also part of the brief.
Materials have been sourced responsibly, and the production process is designed to minimise waste. At the end of its lifecycle, the workwear will be fully recycled, with a dedicated scheme aimed at ensuring zero landfill.
A different kind of transformation

While it doesn’t come with a badge or a spec sheet, the new workwear is part of Bentley’s broader “Dream Factory” vision, its plan to transform Crewe into a hub for electric vehicle production.
It’s also a reminder that the shift to electrification goes beyond the cars themselves.
From factory floors to final assembly, everything is being rethought, including the uniforms.
And in Bentley’s case, even that change is being treated with the same level of detail as the vehicles it builds.
